Biography

Artistry and Versatility;

A Jamestown, NY native, Eric Pearson is currently teaching and performing in Austin, TX where he is the Director of Community Guitarists for the Austin Classical Guitar Society He recently completed the graduate program in music at Ithaca College. Prior to completing his Master's Degree in Music, Eric was the acting executive director of the Infinity Performing Arts Program, Inc. He also taught public school, gave private guitar lessons and coached several student groups. He has music degrees from SUNY JCC and SUNY Fredonia. In addition to teaching classes at Ithaca College and Cayuga Community College, he taught privately and worked as a freelance performer in the area. He has worked with performers such as Rich Little, John Bacon, Bruce Johnstone, Alan Zurcher, Harry Jacobson, Marshall Keys, and John Cross. Eric performed with the stage band for Chautauqua Lake Idol from 2004-2006 and toured frequently as a member of the Fredonia Guitar Quartet.
